Mungo National Park, New South Wales, Australia (2024)

India was captured during my expedition to the Australian outback with John Rutter and Capture The Atlas. Shot under the pristine, dark skies of Mungo National Park, this image marked the debut of my Astro-modified camera.

The park's ancient landscapes bear deep significance to the Ngyiampaa, Mutthi Mutthi, and Southern Paakantyi peoples. It is here that Mungo Man and Mungo Lady were discovered, offering a glimpse into spiritual practices over 42,000 years ago, some of humanity's earliest rituals.

An awe-inspiring combination of history and nature, this place truly felt like stepping into another world.
